Target set to be available in January
Fiorentina forward Giuseppe Rossi is ‘99 per cent’ certain to leave the Serie A giants in January, according to the player’s agent.
The former Manchester United forward has been linked with a move to Jurgen Klopp’s side next month, with the German boss keen to build his own side at Anfield.
A number of debilitating knee injuries have held Rossi’s career back in Italy and he’s struggled to nail down a first-team spot with the Viola’s since his return.
And Rossi’s agent, Federico Pastorello, has confirmed that his client is near certain to leave the club next month.
"The club has realised it cannot keep hold of the lad because he wants to play," said Pastorello.
