NewsFive more players confirmed for LFC Legends v Borussia Dortmund at Anfield
A further five players have been confirmed for Liverpool FC Legends' squad for the LFC Foundation charity match against Borussia Dortmund in March.
Sami Hyypia, Fabio Aurelio, Gregory Vignal, Martin Kelly and Yossi Benayoun are the latest additions to the squad for the game at Anfield on Saturday March 28 in support of the club's official charity.
A key figure in the Reds' Champions League triumph of 2005, former captain Hyypia made 464 appearances and scored 35 goals overall during his decade at the club.
Aurelio, the first Brazilian to sign for Liverpool in July 2006, returns to L4 again for this year's legends fixture, while Vignal is no stranger to these occasions having netted against AFC Ajax back in 2024.
Kelly and Benayoun, meanwhile, were both members of the side that beat their Chelsea counterparts at Stamford Bridge earlier this season.

As always, all of the proceeds from this fixture – supported by AXA and held in association with Forever Reds – will go directly towards the work of LFC Foundation and Forever Reds.
Funds raised will support LFC Foundation's employability programmes, which help people across the community to find work, gain qualifications and develop new skills through mentoring and training.
The game will also contribute to the Foundation's long-term strategy and its ambition to support 500,000 people a season by 2030.
