Mohamed Salah's stunning finish at Salzburg in the Champions League has won Liverpool's Goal of the Month award for December.

The Egyptian made it 2-0 in the Group E encounter by rounding the goalkeeper and finishing from the tightest of angles.

His effort earned the most votes in our Goal of the Month poll, beating Trent Alexander-Arnold's powerful strike away at Leicester City on Boxing Day.

In third place was the Divock Origi lofted finish over Everton, while Roberto Firmino's winning goal against Flamengo in the FIFA Club World Cup final finished fourth.

Salah's first goal in the encounter with Watford at Anfield claimed fifth spot.
