Daniel Sturridge in running for Premier League Goal of the Season
Daniel Sturridge's stunning late strike at Stamford Bridge in September has been shortlisted for the Premier League Goal of the Season award.
The Liverpool striker came off the bench to rescue a point for his side against Chelsea with an outstanding, curled finish from long range that dipped over Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Sturridge’s effort won the Premier League Goal of the Month award for September and is therefore among the nominees for the overall best of the 2018-19 campaign.
