Liverpool can confirm Jack Robinson is set to join the club's backroom staff as first-team assistant goalkeeping coach.

Robinson will arrive at the Reds from the Football Association, where he has worked as a ‘keeper coach for England’s U15-U17 teams for the last two-and-a-half years.

He was part of the Three Lions U17s set-up that won the World Cup in 2017.

Prior to his role with the FA, Robinson spent seven years at Manchester United, working with goalkeepers across all levels of the club from academy to first team.

He has also enjoyed spells with Crystal Palace and Leeds United during his career.

Robinson, who holds a UEFA A licence in goalkeeping, will assist John Achterberg in the coaching of Liverpool’s stoppers at Melwood.
