Mignolet's Belgium clinch third place with England win
Belgium secured a third place finish in the 2018 World Cup with a 2-0 victory over England in Saturday's play-off game.
Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet watched on from the bench as his countrymen capped off this summer's tournament with a win earned through goals from Thomas Meunier and Eden Hazard.
Mignolet's Reds colleagues Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold also remained unused throughout in Saint Petersburg.
The trio will now take a well-earned rest before returning to Melwood to begin preparations for the 2018-19 campaign.
