Signed from Chelsea four days earlier, Daniel Sturridge quickly made an impact at Liverpool, scoring just seven minutes into his debut as Brendan Rodgers' side beat Mansfield Town 2-1 in a January 2013 FA Cup tie.

The England international was on the scoresheet again on his league debut against Manchester United and once more against Norwich City to become the first Liverpool player to score in his first three matches since Ray Kennedy in 1974.

He formed a deadly partnership with Luis Suarez, which almost fired the Reds to the Premier League title in 2013-14, when he netted 24 times in all competitions.

Sturridge scored the 100th goal of his club career during Liverpool's 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town earlier this term and has 63 in 133 appearances for the club in total.
