If you want to feel inspired then look no further than eight-year-old Kicks Inclusion participant Harry Corness.

Harry has been involved in the LFC Foundation programme for two years since taking part in a summer disability event, and now attends sessions every Friday night with his dad.

Full of life and taking part in everything that the session offers, he loves nothing more than playing football and is a huge Liverpool fan.

Terri Ritchie, LFC Foundation Kicks Inclusion programme lead, said: “Harry is a brilliant and inspirational participant.

“He demonstrates the LFC Foundation values of ambition and commitment through his consistent participation at our Kicks Inclusion wheelchair session. He is a pleasure to have as part of our programme and he always brings lots of energy to our sessions.”

Since starting the sessions, Harry has not only made huge progress in his football skills but also in his ability to use his wheelchair. His confidence has grown immensely and it has been noticed by all the coaches.

While Harry is making moves on the football pitch, off it his dad is making sure his son’s performances are documented with regular videos, which receive an amazing response on social media.

LFC Foundation’s Kicks Inclusion wheelchair sessions have been running for 11 years with a welcoming group of participants who always embrace new families and participants as part of the session.

You can find the sessions every Friday from 6pm-8pm (except half-terms) at Anfield Sports and Community Centre. It’s inclusive to all ages and adaptable to all wheelchair users.
