LFC Foundation director Matt Parish has issued the following message and update regarding the official club charity's ongoing work in the community.

Hello everyone,

It has been a strange Easter weekend for us all and I do hope you’ve managed to connect with loved ones, even if the circumstances mean this cannot be in person. It’s so difficult not to be close to friends and family, but by staying at home we are all helping to keep everybody safe.

The circumstances we find ourselves in can provide us with time to reflect, which is what I’ve had the opportunity to do over the weekend. It’s been a busy few weeks, as we’ve channelled our resources into supporting the most vulnerable in our community.

With the help of so many colleagues across the club we’ve been able to bring support to individuals and families across the region. The amount of work that has been carried out so far is so varied, there’s too much to cover in this note.

So instead I’ve recorded a short video message to describe some of the amazing things we’ve been able to achieve.

Over the coming days and weeks we will be increasing the number of volunteers for community support services, as well as expanding the reach of LFC Connect and continuing our support for foodbanks, so please watch out for future updates and get involved where you feel you can.

Thank you so much for your continued support. Unity Is Strength.
