Memembers of the Liverpool FC Women squad paid a surprise visit to local families at Anfield on the final day of Red Neighbours' October half-term breakfast clubs.

Jade Bailey and Kirsty Linnett met with local families – presenting them with free tickets to their upcoming derby fixture at Anfield, signing autographs and taking part in a Q&A – to celebrate another successful run of Red Neighbours' breakfast clubs.

More than 200 people from L4, L5 and L6 were invited to the stadium last week to enjoy a healthy breakfast, take part in family fun activities and experience a mini tour of Anfield.

Other special guests involved during the week included, LFC Legends, Roy Evans and Ian Callaghan, Chair of the Hillsborough Family Support Group, Margaret Aspinall and LFC’s official mascot, Mighty Red.

Families were also given the chance to take home some LFC themed raffle prizes as well as signed team photographs of the first team and LFC Women’s team.

Red Neighbours' breakfast clubs are a regular fixture at Anfield during the school holidays, providing local families with activities and nutritious food as part of its commitment to food poverty and education and providing memorable experiences for young people.
