Participants at this weekend’s Run for the 96 can gain free entry to Liverpool FC Women’s final game of the season against Everton at Prenton Park on Saturday.

The 12.30pm BST kick-off will see Vicky Jepson's side conclude their campaign with a Merseyside derby. All runners must show their race number at the turnstile in order to gain free entry.

The Run for the 96 is an annual 5k which sees Reds and Blues come together for a fun day of fundraising in remembrance of the tragic events of April 15, 1989.

All funds raised will be donated to the LFC Foundation and Everton in the Community to help continue their vital work in the local area and beyond.

Full details on the Run for the 96, including how to enter, can be found here. Online entries are open until midnight tonight. There will also be limited entries on the day.
