The LFC Foundation supported National Youth Social Action Day by running a series of inspirational sessions with youngsters in local schools today.

Using the #iwill programme, which is run by the LFC Foundation across Merseyside as part of a national campaign, coaches delivered six workshops to 119 local pupils throughout the day.

Sessions focused on inspiring youngsters to take small steps to improve their home, school or community, as well as the environment, with the aim of generating a collective positive change throughout the UK and the rest of the world.

National Youth Social Action Day takes place on June 5 and celebrates the power of youth – encouraging young people to use their energy, skills and ideas to change society and the environment for the better.
