LFC Foundation, the club's official charity, has launched two new Open Goals sessions for local families this month.

Bowersdale Park, in Seaforth, and Crosby's Coronation Park will now host midweek activities - from 4.30pm every Tuesday and Wednesday respectively - in addition to the existing weekend programme, which takes place in various parks across the city.

Open Goals sessions are delivered by qualified LFC Foundation coaches, supported by Liverpool John Moores University volunteers, and are designed to bring families and communities together in local parks to socalise and get active.

The fun-filled games and activities are suitable for everyone aged five years and over and are inclusive to all abilities and additional needs.

Indoor facilities are also available in each location throughout the winter, should adverse weather conditions prevent the session from running outside.
