Almost 100 local children attended a LFC Foundation half-term camp in Anfield last week, funded by the James Milner Foundation (JMF).

The multi-sports camp ran at Anfield Sports and Community Centre (ASCC) for three days throughout the October break, encouraging children aged six-15 to engage in healthy recreation and activities while focusing on team work and developing their communication skills.

The Reds’ vice-captain has been a long-standing supporter of the LFC Foundation, having made a generous donation - through his own charity - to kick-start the camps back in 2016.

Since then, ongoing funds from JMF have provided the LFC Foundation with means to deliver several three-day camps during school half-term breaks, with around 1,000 participants benefitting from the sessions to date.

Like the LFC Foundation, JMF promotes healthy activities among young people across the UK by focusing on the development, improvement and provision of sporting opportunities - in particular football, rugby and cricket.
