Two LFC Foundation volunteers were today presented with special certificates from Peter Moore, CEO of Liverpool Football Club and vice-chair of the LFC Foundation, in celebration of National Volunteers' Week.

Volunteers' Week runs from June 1-7 and provides the opportunity to thank volunteers and celebrate their fantastic contribution to communities and society.

Ste Hunt (pictured) has been volunteering for the LFC Foundation for the past 10 years, with a particular focus on supporting the Respect 4 All inclusion programme.

Respect 4 All provides free sports and physical activity provision for children and young people with additional needs.

Brett Duffy is studying football and science at Liverpool John Moores University, and is one of the first students to join the new LFC Foundation volunteering programme, which has been developed in partnership with the university.

Brett has already volunteered at a number of LFC Foundation events and activities, including Foundation Day 2018, Run for the 96 and the Foundation’s new Open Goals programme, which provides free family activities across Liverpool's parks and open spaces.
