Hundreds of youngsters have engaged with the free Park Football scheme launched in Stanley Park and at the Albert Dock by the Liverpool FC Foundation last week.

Coaches from the club’s official charity deliver sessions, featuring a range of skills and drills, that are open to everyone and do not require pre-booking.

And in the first week of Park Football, more than 650 young people got involved across both sites and another busy week is expected after the initiative resumed on Monday.

In Stanley Park the sessions are set to be available throughout the summer holidays, running from Monday to Thursday between 1pm and 3.30pm.

The next session at the Albert Dock is scheduled for 10am until 3pm on Friday August 11.
