Earlier this season, a group of Liverpool FC men’s and women’s players and legends embarked on a special mission with Standard Chartered to spread happiness across the city.
In teams of two and three, the likes of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Missy Bo Kearns headed out to surprise people they met on their route with gifts and treats from the main club partner.
There were hugs, kickabouts, songs and plenty of heart-warming moments along the way, too, as the Reds toured the local area looking for a chance to make someone’s day.
