Supporters travelling to Sunday's Merseyside derby against Everton should note that planned rail engineering works mean replacement bus services will be in operation locally.

Liverpool face their neighbours in a 1.30pm BST kick-off in the Barclays Premier League this weekend.

Engineering works will be taking place on train routes between Sandhills and Kirkby and Sandhills and Ormskirk, which may affect fans’ journeys.

However, rail replacement buses will be available as an alternative for supporters making their way to Goodison Park.
