LFC to face Port Vale, Rochdale and Bolton in Papa John's Trophy
Liverpool will face Port Vale, Rochdale and Bolton Wanderers in the group stages of the 2021-22 Papa John's Trophy.
As an invited Premier League club, the young Reds were drawn in Group D of the northern section on Thursday afternoon.
The winners and runners-up of the north and south groups will qualify for the last 32 of the competition.
