The Auto Cup Scheme provides, Priority Right Holders, qualifying Season Ticket Holders and Official Members the opportunity to secure home tickets for Liverpool FC's season-wide cup campaigns - the European, FA Cup and League Cup competitions.

Once enrolled, seats are automatically allocated, and you will remain in the scheme(s) for as long as the team is involved in the competition(s).

The stadium capacity at Anfield differs for each competition based on varying contractual obligations. These include:

  • UEFA ticket allocation
  • Press seats
  • Priority Right Holders
  • FA and League Cup Sponsors
  • Increased visitor allocations for FA and League Cup

The number of seats contractually required usually increases as we move through the later rounds of the competition which in turn impacts the number of seats available to supporters.

It is also likely that the number of tickets required by visiting Clubs will also increase as we progress through the competition. 


Once supporters are enrolled into a scheme the process is as follows:

  1. Dates for when automated payments will be taken will be published here and on the selling notice for each home cup game.
  2. Once the automated payment process has ended:
  • Supporters whose payment has been successfully taken will be sent a confirmation email and their NFC pass will be updated ahead of the match.
  • Supporters whose payment is unsuccessful, will have their seat reserved for a short period of time. An email and SMS will be sent to the supporter with instructions of what to do next. If the seat is not purchased within the dedicated timeframe, it will be released for sale.
  1. Following the game, supporters who do not have a ticket recorded against their supporter ID will automatically be removed from the scheme. Please note that supporters do not receive a match credit for a ticket that has been forwarded to them.
