Liverpool FC Women can confirm that Jasmine Matthews and Yana Daniels have left the club by mutual consent.

Defender Matthews joined the Reds from Bristol City last summer and went on to make 14 appearances in a season curtailed by injury.

Belgian winger Daniels made the same journey from Bristol City last summer and finished with 21 appearances, with eight of them coming from the substitutes’ bench.

Liverpool FC Women manager Vicky Jepson said: “I’d just like to personally thank Yana and Jaz for their year at our club and wish them the best of luck going forward.

“I spoke to both of them personally to say how much I respect the time and efforts they have put in while they’ve been at the club. We wish them the best of luck and hope they have success at their new club.”

Everyone at Liverpool FC Women would like to thank Jasmine and Yana for their contributions and wish them the very best of luck in their future endeavours.
