Marco Asensio won't be leaving Real Madrid, his agent has claimed.

The 22-year-old has looked on the brink at the Bernaebu.

Santiago Solari’s promotion to the Real hot seat saw his game-time become increasingly limited.

But in recent weeks the forward has upped the ante and appears to have won Solari round.

Asensio’s agent - Horacio Gaggioli - says being linked with the Serie A side in an ‘honour’ - but his client is going nowhere.

"It's an honour if a club like Inter are interested in Marco," he told FCInternews.

"I don't know if it's true, but for now the player has no intention of leaving Madrid."

Asensio has previously been touted as a Liverpool target by Spanish media outlet Ok Diario.

Jurgen Klopp is still reportedly tracking his progress at Real closely, with the Reds boss "in love with" Asensio's playing style.

The Charismatic German reportedly tabled a mammoth £160m offer last summer.

However, Real chiefs were quick to turn down the approach following Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure to Juventus.

"This year, an offer of 180m euros [£160m] came to Liverpool's Real Madrid for Asensio,” Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda explained.

“The club said no because Cristiano left, but Klopp is in love with the player and will go for the player next summer."
