Jürgen Klopp has five top targets as he prepares for a spending spree at Liverpool.

The Reds board has promised the German boss funds this summer, after the club reported a record revenue just shy of £300million.

Express Sport understands Klopp has three names high on his transfer wishlist - Mario Gotze, Piotr Zielinski and Ben Chilwell.

Germany World Cup winner Gotze, 23, emerged under Klopp at Borussia Dortmund and has just over a year remaining on his contract at Bayern Munich.

Poland international Zielinski is on loan at Empoli from Udinese and having been a target for Liverpool in January, interest will be revived in the 21-year-old midfielder this summer.

Klopp is also keen on Leicester's 18-year-old left-back Ben Chilwell, who is also being tracked by other Premier League clubs.

Borussia Monchengladbach's defensive midfielder Granit Xhaka is also said to be a target of Liverpool, as well as Manchester City and Arsenal.

And the 23-year-old sounds like he would be keen on moving to Anfield after revealing his Premier League dream.

"Everybody has a childhood dream, and for me it is England," the Switzerland international said.

Xhaka would cost around £30m.

And Germany winger Karim Bellarabi could also be on his way to Liverpool for around £15.5m.

Italian outlet Transfermarketweb claim Klopp is a fan of the 25-year-old Bayer Leverkusen star.
