Kevin Grosskreutz has agreed personal terms with Liverpool ahead of a January move, according to reports in Turkey.

The midfielder moved to Galatasaray in the summer after spending six years with Borussia Dortmund.

However, the Germany international is reportedly already keen to leave after failing to settle in Turkey.

Grosskreutz was signed by Jurgen Klopp during his time at Dortmund and the Liverpool boss is a big fan of the 27-year-old.

That, according to Turkish news outlet Takvim, has persuaded Klopp to make a move for his former player in attempt to bring him to Anfield.

Grosskreutz has reportedly jumped at the chance to reunite with his former manager and he has already agreed personal terms.

Liverpool must now thrash out a deal with Galatasaray ahead of the January transfer window.
