Liverpool are interested in Borussia Dortmund attacker Jakub Blaszczykowski, according to reports in Germany.

The Poland international has struggled to nail down a first-team spot so far this season despite starring for the club in previous years.

And the 29-year-old is reported by German newspaper Bild to be considering his future, with the Reds tracking his progress.

Arsenal and Manchester United are also thought to retain an interest, while Spanish outfit Real Betis could also swoop in.

Blaszczykowski signed for the German giants from Wisla Krakow in 2007 and has won the Bundesliga title and become a Champions League runner-up during his time in Dortmund.

However, he has struggled with injuries in recent seasons and made just 13 league appearances last term.

The Pole has three years left to run on his contract at the Westfalenstadion and is reported to be after an increase on his £1.8million yearly salary if he does move.

Liverpool have already signed seven players this summer but manager Brendan Rodgers could go back into the market if the right player becomes available.

Meanwhile, Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is understood to be keen on bolstering his attacking options at Old Trafford.
