Darwin Nunez has clinched his first Standard Chartered Player of the Month award as Liverpool's star man in November.

The striker scored three times and provided one assist in four appearances last month as the Reds won both Premier League fixtures, beat Napoli in the Champions League and progressed in the Carabao Cup.

The Uruguay international bagged the second goal of the night as a substitute when Napoli were defeated 2-0 at Anfield, then set up the first of Mohamed Salah’s brace in the 2-1 victory at Tottenham Hotspur.

Nunez came off the bench and scored his penalty in the shootout win over Derby County before striking twice as Southampton were downed 3-1 before the World Cup.

His performances earned the No.27 the most votes in our Player of the Month poll on Liverpoolfc.com, finishing ahead of Alisson Becker and Salah.
