Jürgen Klopp has confirmed Roberto Firmino is available for Liverpool's Premier League meeting with Aston Villa but Darwin Nunez remains sidelined.

Firmino is now fit again after missing the Reds' last six fixtures with a muscle issue.

Meanwhile, Nunez is unavailable for selection due to the toe injury that kept him out of Monday night's win at Leicester City.

Speaking on Friday ahead of Liverpool's final training session before the game, Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com: "As far as I know in the moment, because I don't have all the information yet, Bobby takes the place of Darwin because Darwin will not be available."

In his pre-match conference, the boss then added: "Darwin will not be available. It's an inflammation of a tendon at the toe – very painful obviously. He didn't train yet this week, so he will not be available for tomorrow.

"The long-term injuries are still out but all the rest should be available."
