Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Naby Keita have been shortlisted for the CAF African Player of the Year award.

The Liverpool trio were included among the 30 nominees for the 2019 edition of the prestigious prize on Sunday.

Salah has won the accolade for the last two years running, with Mane finishing as runner-up on both occasions.

A panel of technical and media professionals determined which players made the initial 30-man list, which will be whittled down to a final three ahead of the CAF awards ceremony in Hurghada, Egypt, on January 7, 2020.
