Liverpool continued their preparations for the weekend's clash with Manchester City by performing a training session at Melwood on Thursday afternoon - and our photographers were present to provide a gallery.

After beating Genk in the Champions League on Tuesday night, the Reds now turn their attention back to Premier League matters as the top two teams in the division face each other at Anfield on Sunday.
