Post-match

Jürgen Klopp's reaction

The boss analysed Liverpool's performance, paid tribute to Stephen Darby and discussed a new role for Adam Lallana during his post-match press conference.

Read what he had to say here.

Full Time

And that’s that.

Liverpool make it two wins from two pre-season outings with a 3-1 victory over Bradford City.

James Milner scored twice early on at Valley Parade, before Rhian Brewster netted for the third time this summer shortly before the break.

Eoin Doyle pulled one back for Bradford with a late penalty, but the Reds were good value for what was a comfortable win.

81

Substitution

Dan Atherton is on for Liverpool - and this time, in the more familiar role of goalkeeper.

The young stopper is on in place of Simon Mignolet.

80

Goal

Lewis trips Donaldson inside the box and Doyle steps up to convert the spot-kick for the Bantams.

80

Penalty

Penalty to Bradford.

64

Millar gets in down the inside-left channel courtesy of Fabinho's pass.

The forward cuts in on his right foot and shoots, but Hornby turns his effort wide.

58

Millar plays a lovely little reverse pass into the path of Jones, who bursts into the area before seeing his shot deflected wide.

54

A first half-opening for Liverpool after the break, as Origi sees a curler from 20 yards deflected wide.

46

Kick-Off

We're back under way here, with Liverpool making 10 changes at the interval.

Second-half team: Mignolet, Hoever, Gomez, Matip, Lewis, Fabinho, Woodburn, Jones, Millar, Duncan, Origi.

Half Time

And there goes the whistle to bring an impressive first-half performance by Liverpool to an end.

The Reds dominated from the off here at Valley Parade and James Milner's quickfire early double - the second of which came from the spot - put them in command.

Bradford rallies briefly as the half wore on, and had a goal disallowed for offside, but Rhian Brewster's third goal of the summer shortly before the break gives the visitors a healthy cushion going into the second 45.

41

A swift counter-attack by Liverpool ends with Brewster's third goal of pre-season.

Oxlade-Chamberlain frees Kent down the left and the forward cuts back inside before setting up the No.15 on the edge of the box.

His low shot is partially blocked, but Brewster is quick to react and somehow squeezes the ball past O'Donnell from the tightest of angles.

41

Goal

Rhian Brewster!

32

Disallowed Goal

Bradford's Richards-Everton thinks he's pulled a goal back after side-footing in a knock-down from a set-piece, but the flag is up to deny him.

30

Liverpool are continuing to zip the ball around at speed here, and look hungry for more goals.

Only a terrific save from O'Donnell denies Wilson, who attempted to lift the ball over the advancing 'keeper after being played in by Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Mignolet was a virtual spectator at the other end during the opening half an hour.

16

Liverpool double their advantage rapidly, with Milner slottting in a penalty with typical assurance after Ryan Kent had been fouled in the area.

16

Goal

Milner again!

14

And Liverpool's pressure pays dividends, with Milner's shot from distance deflecting off Vaughan and past O'Donnell.

1-0 to the Reds.

14

Goal

James Milner!

10

We've (hopefully!) overcome a few technical difficulties here at Valley Parade and can confirm that it remains goalless after the opening 10 minutes.

Liverpool have dominated possession and territory so far, without troubling Bradford 'keeper Richard O'Donnell.
