Sadio Mane wins LFC Goal of the Month for March
Sadio Mane has won Liverpool's Goal of the Month award for March with his sensational solo effort against Bayern Munich.
The No.10’s deft twist and finish to open the scoring at the Allianz Arena topped our online poll ahead of his second strike – a diving header – in the same Champions League tie.
The prize caps a quadruple for Mane in March – the Senegal international also won Player of the Month prizes from Reds fans, the Premier League and the PFA.
Rounding off the top five for Goal of the Month were Rhian Brewster’s long-range curler for the U23s against Northwestern University, Van Dijk’s header in Munich and Roberto Firmino’s opener in the win over Tottenham Hotspur.
