The Liverpool squad and staff made their annual visit to the city's Alder Hey Children's Hospital on Thursday afternoon to bring some festive cheer to the patients and their families - and our cameras joined them.

Jürgen Klopp, the players and the backroom team took time out of their preparations for Sunday's clash with Manchester United to make the trip to the specialist facility in West Derby, which cares for more than 270,000 children, young people and families each year.

Once on the hospital wards, the squad spent time chatting to patients and parents, posing for photographs, signing autographs and handing out special gifts.
