Liverpool will be without Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita against Arsenal, but Jürgen Klopp has allayed any concerns over Mohamed Salah’s fitness.

Midfielders Henderson and Keita are progressing well as they recover from hamstring problems, but both are unavailable for Saturday’s trip to Emirates Stadium.

Salah, meanwhile, wore a wrist support in training earlier this week - but Klopp confirmed on Friday that the Egyptian is in contention to face the Gunners.

“Hendo feels really good but it will be probably the start of the week when he will be back in training,” the manager said during his pre-match press conference.

“Naby [will be the] end of this week. It doesn’t make a big difference match-wise, but that’s how it looks.

“Mo, it is nothing really serious; it’s a kind of inflammation of the tendon. That’s pretty much all, it [the support] was only for protection - the pictures you saw were only protection and it has no influence.”

Klopp reported no fresh injury concerns ahead of the meeting with an in-form Arsenal side, who have won 12 of their last 13 games in all competitions.

Unai Emery does, though, have several absences to deal with.

Midfield duo Matteo Guendouzi (suspended) and Mohamed Elneny (thigh) are out, along with Laurent Koscielny (Achilles) and Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin).

Hector Bellerin (thigh) and Sokratis Papastathopoulos (ankle) will be assessed along with Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac (both hamstring) before a decision is made on their involvement.
