Luis Suarez thrilled Kopites right from the get-go and became one of the best players in world football during three-and-a-half years wearing Liverpool's famous No.7 shirt.

Signed from Ajax on deadline day in January 2011, Suarez quickly established himself as a key player for Kenny Dalglish and, by the time he returned to Anfield to begin his first full season, the forward had won the 2011 Copa America and been named Player of the Tournament to underline his obvious quality.

Suarez's goal totals steadily improved during his three-and-a-half-season stay at Anfield, culminating in a haul of 31 in 37 appearances in all competitions as the Reds went so close to winning the 2013-14 Premier League title.

But his incredible goals were just one facet of his thrilling approach to the game. The way he skilfully glided around the pitch and regularly bamboozled opponents with indefatigable displays of quality regularly had fans on the edge of their seats.
