Liverpool will begin their 2016-17 Premier League campaign with a trip to face Arsenal at Emirates Stadium in August.

The full fixture list for next season was revealed on Wednesday morning and confirmed an exciting opening contest in the capital for the Reds.

Other notable dates for the diary include the first Merseyside derby, to be played at Goodison Park on December 17, and the Anfield return on April 1.

Jürgen Klopp’s side host Manchester United on October 15 and travel to Old Trafford on January 14, while the clashes with champions Leicester City are scheduled for September 10 and February 25.
