Liverpool duo Simon Mignolet and Gini Wijnaldum met with children from three local schools this week to hand out free tickets to Saturday's Premier League match against Chelsea.

Pupils from New Park, Pinehurst and St Margaret’s were invited to Anfield by the club’s Red Neighbours programme.

The players presented each school with 11 tickets to the Reds’ home clash with the Antonio Conte's side this weekend.

As part of Red Neighbours' focus on creating memorable experiences for young people, over 1,000 free tickets will be donated to local schools during the 2017-18 campaign.

Fifty-five tickets are provided for each home game, with 21 primary and four high schools in the L4, L5 and L6 postcodes benefitting across the season.
