LFC Legends arrive in Sydney for Thursday's match
The Liverpool FC Legends are today touching down in Sydney ahead of their meeting with the Australian Legends at the ANZ Stadium on Thursday.
Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Robbie Fowler, Ian Rush and many more famous names from Reds history have begun to arrive in Australia before they don their boots for the club again under the guidance of Gerard Houllier.
In addition to their preparations for the match itself, the squad will participate in a number of events in the local community on Wednesday and meet some of the passionate Kopites based Down Under.
Focus switches firmly to the game on Thursday and a competitive edge to the contest is guaranteed, with Gerrard and his teammates adamant that nothing less than 100 per cent is expected come kick-off.
