Don't miss it!

Clyne departs US tour

Nathaniel Clyne has been granted permission by Jürgen Klopp to return home from Liverpool's United States tour early for family reasons.

The full-back will depart back to England from New Jersey today, meaning he will miss the Reds' trip to Michigan and the fixture with Manchester United on Saturday.

Clyne will return to the squad for Liverpool's training camp in France next week.

Naby Keita fitness update

Naby Keita is set to sit out training for the next couple of days as a precautionary measure as he recovers from a sore neck.

The midfielder missed Liverpool’s 2-1 victory over Manchester City in the International Champions Cup tie in New Jersey on Wednesday night due to the issue.

Jürgen Klopp detailed prior to kick-off why the Reds would be without their new No.8 after he'd sustained the problem on Tuesday.

Keita will be afforded time to recover by not taking part in the immediate sessions, although he has not been ruled out of the fixture with Manchester United in Michigan at this stage.

Training is just about to start in New Jersey, with the players set to recover from the exertions of last night's win.

As ever, you can find live clips from the session over on our Instagram story. Head to @liverpoolfc to see it.

Thursday's plan of action

What's in store for the Reds today, then?

Well, they'll be training this morning (a session of post-match recovery work and running is planned), before heading to New York City for some scheduled club apperances.

The lads will then have some hard-earned free time in the Big Apple ahead of Friday morning's flight to Michigan for the third and final leg of the US tour.

The Mane with the Golden Gun...

There was a very special guest in the Liverpool changing room after the game last night - none other than James Bond!

Hollywood superstar and lifelong Red Daniel Craig popped in to say hello to the lads. Take a look at a selection of photos and our behind-the-scenes video below...

The boss' verdict

Jürgen Klopp discussed beating City, Salah's return to action and much more during his post-match press conference at the MetLife.

"The second half pleased me; the first half I was not so pleased with, how you can imagine," said the manager, after watching his side come from a goal down to win.
