The LFC Foundation's roadshow exposed students to the variety of creative industry job roles that are available across the Liverpool City Region.

Creative Works is an employability programme funded by the Japanese publishing firm and Club partner, Kodansha.

The programme aims to works with young people aged between 16-25 years, to raise aspirations of gaining job roles within the creative industry, whilst developing the necessary transferable skills needed for success in the job market, through a combination of interactive educational workshops and industry specific sessions.

This Summer, the LFC Foundation's Creative Works team in Liverpool and USA joined together to create a work experience roadshow; highlighting some of the amazing creative organisations across Liverpool City Region with a wide variety of job roles within those organisations.

On Monday, the team got thoroughly involved at Red Brick Markets followed up by a visit to the Dorothy Art Gallery where they experienced a tour of the artwork, and murals, a talk from CEO, Jim Quail and a photoshoot.

On Tuesday, the team visited The Baltic Creatives and the amazing creatives that work around the vibrant part of Liverpool and a follow up at Yeti Creative Studios for a workshop.

Wednesday introduced The Anfield Wrap team and The Tate followed on by welcoming our participants to the offices of Liverpool FC and the LFC Foundation where we hosted talks from LFCTV's senior manager of commercial content, Josh O'Connell, and LFC's senior manager of design and creative services, Keith Watson.

We were excited to introduce our participants to the team of professionals at Royal Court Theatre where we learned about various roles within theatre both on and off the stage. Following lunch we took our participants to see the team at Sony and their work within the games design industry.

We capped off the week with a visit to the Invisible Wind Factory where we met the staff and artists, and also received a skating workshop!

Thank you to everyone from all of the organisations who took the time to talk to the young people from our programme.
