LFC FoundationKuyt, Škrtel and Westerveld join six more players confirmed for LFC Legends clash
Six more players have been confirmed for LFC Foundation’s next Legends game at Anfield.
LFC Legends will take on Chelsea Legends on Saturday March 22, with a 3pm kick off, and tickets are on sale now.
With five players already confirmed, the next six names to make the squad have now been announced for the game, which is presented by official training partner AXA.
Goalkeeper Sander Westerveld, who was part of the 2000-01 treble-winning side will take part once again this year, joining Jerzy Dudek as an option between the sticks.
Martin Škrtel and Ragnar Klavan have also signed up to bolster the defensive ranks for the charity match, in association with Forever Reds, the club’s official former players association.
In the middle of the pitch, Mark González and Jay Spearing will feature for the Reds once again, while Dirk Kuyt returns to Legends action too to join the attacking options.
Ticket are on sale now and all funds raised from the game will support the work of the LFC Foundation, as well as supporting beneficiaries including Forever Reds, Chelsea FC Foundation and Chelsea Players’ Trust.

Eight previous legends matches at Anfield have raised more than £7.5 million and have helped LFC Foundation increase the number of people it supported to 127,000 last season.
Funds from the next legends match will help play a key role in LFC Foundation’s new strategy, which aims to double fundraising efforts to reach the ambition of helping 500,000 people a season by 2030.
Money raised will also specifically support LFC Foundation’s health programmes, which provide physical and mental wellbeing programmes for people of all ages.
