Liverpool have begun talks with Kingsley Coman’s representatives and the player’s father is keen to see him move to England, although Bayern Munich are fighting to keep hold of him.

German publication Sport1 report that there is firm interest from the Reds in the Frenchman and that contact has been made over a possible move.

Any deal is a long way from being completed, though, as Bayern want the 25-year-old to stay put and are keen to see him sign a contract extension, taking him beyond his current deal which ends in 2023.
