Agent reveals Liverpool were on the brink of signing Watford winger
Ismaila Sarr’s agent has revealed that Liverpool were on the brink of signing the Watford winger in the January transfer window.
The Premier League champions recruited two new centre-backs on deadline day as they secured a loan deal for Ozan Kabak from Schalke, while Ben Davies joined from Preston North End.
But Jurgen Klopp was also looking to bolster his attacking options and Sarr has been Liverpool’s radar for over a year.
