Liverpool have ‘made contact’ with Brazilian club Vasco da Gama over their 18-year-old sensation Talles Magno as they look to beat a string of European sides to his signature.

The teenage forward, who can operate out wide or through the middle, has caught the eye of numerous clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Lille, Bayer Leverkusen, Sevilla and Krasnodar, but Liverpool are looking to make the most convincing argument to the young prospect.

The Reds had registered their interest in Magno back in May and have now made contact with his club to see if a deal can be done this summer, according to Brazilian publication Yahoo Esportes.
