Adam Lallana is set to finalise talks over extending his Liverpool contract until the end of the Premier League season.

Lallana was due to call time on a six-year Reds career when his present deal expired on June 30.

However, the suspension of the campaign has meant the midfielder is one of a number of players who were set to become free agents before the top flight is proposed to finish on July 26.
