A transfer to Liverpool could be a very 'attractive proposition' for Kylian Mbappe, a French journalist has claimed.

Following Mbappe's recent public comments on the Reds, Julien Laurens has said a move to Merseyside might be a possibility for Mbappe - though any admirers of the PSG star would have to pay around €300m to make it happen.

Speaking to ESPN FC, Laurens indicated the Paris Saint-Germain talisman would consider an offer from Liverpool 'every single day of the week'.

Laurens said: "It’s pretty simple, if Liverpool can pay the €300m or maybe €350m with the bonuses, and put that on the table – which is what PSG will ask anyone to sign Mbappe.

"If Liverpool can afford that, plus give him the wages that he wants, he will consider that offer every single day of the week, because, yes Real Madrid is his dream and one day there is a certainty that he will play at the Bernabeu for Real Madrid.

"But he's only 21 years of age so there is plenty time for him to go and play in Madrid one day.

"The fact is that he also would like to play in the Premier League one day, too - and Liverpool is a very attractive proposition for any top player in the world right now with what they are putting together and the project of Jurgen Klopp.

"But again, if they can’t put that money down on the table for an offer, there’s no way he could go there."

Earlier this week in a BBC interview at the launch of his new charity, 'Inspired by Kylian Mbappe', the World Cup winner hailed Liverpool.

Mbappe said: "What Liverpool do in this moment is amazing. They're like a machine, they've found a rhythm and are like 'we play again, we play again'.

"They've lost zero games. When you watch you think everything's easy but that's not easy.

"The guys are focused, they play games every three days and they win, they win, they win.

"Now the problem is that everybody watches Liverpool, and everybody watches what we can do against them, so now they have to show they are strong again but it's a very good team with a very good manager."
