Liverpool are reportedly not interested in signing Aston Villa star Jack Grealish despite recent speculation linking them with a move for the midfielder.

Grealish has been one of the few positives in a disappointing season so far for Villa, with the 24-year-old impressing despite their lowly position in the Premier League.

He has scored eight goals and created six assists, and at times has appeared to single-handedly drag his team through matches.

However, according to the Liverpool Echo the Reds are not pursuing a move for the player, and are happy with their strength and depth in centre midfield.

Grealish has often been linked with a move away from his hometown club in the past, and Villa would surely struggle to keep hold if him if they were relegated this season.
