Liverpool have ramped up their efforts to sign Nicolas Pepe and could table an offer for the attacking winger in the region of £71m.

L'Equipe have reported on Thursday that the Ivory Coast international has been of major interest to Jürgen Klopp and that Liverpool are prepared to spend big on the 24-year-old.

Manchester United and Arsenal have also been strongly linked with a move for Pepe.

Pepe has sparked interest from England's major clubs after scoring 23 goals in 41 appearances last season for Lille.
