Liverpool are reportedly looking to bolster their defence in the summer and Borussia Monchengladbach's Matthias Ginter is top of their list of targets.

Jurgen Klopp signed Ginter in 2014, when he was in charge of Borussia Dortmund, and is keen for a reunion with the 25-year-old.

Ginter went on to move to Gladbach in 2017 for €17m (£14.6m) and has been a regular in their side since, scoring five Bundesliga goals in his first season for the club.

Now Klopp is looking to bring the German to Anfield as he looks to pin down a regular partner at centre-back for Virgil van Dijk.
