Liverpool reportedly held talks with Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi with a view to a potential move.

The 18-year-old is keen to leave Stamford Bridge in search of regular first-team football and Bayern Munich are prepared to pay £35million.

But according to Bild , Liverpool were also interested in a move and spoke to Hudson-Odoi's agent earlier in January.

The German newspaper claims the Anfield club met with the player and his brother Bradley who is also his representative.

Hudson-Odoi has also attracted interest from RB Leipzig but Bayern remains his most likely destination.

His contract at Stamford Bridge runs until next summer and Chelsea have offered him a bumper new deal in a bid to ward off his suitors.
