Trent Alexander-Arnold will undergo a scan on his foot today amid fears that he will miss Liverpool's crunch Premier League clash with Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday.

The 20-year-old right-back hobbled off in the closing stages of Tuesday night's thrilling Champions League victory over Napoli at Anfield.

The England international remains in pain and a scan will determine whether there is any bone damage.

With Joel Matip having damaged his shoulder against Napoli, Jürgen Klopp can ill-afford to lose another defender before the visit of Jose Mourinho's side.
